Playing God: Definitely a guilty pleasure.
MUT'S LATEST ACTIVITY
Maverick: One too many twist endings, but still a damn fun movie.
Am I the only one who thinks that Hasselhoff should've played Fury in Iron Man?
Oh, Left 4 Dead 2 ... I love you so.
I have to wait to play it until I move in with my friend when I start school in the spring. He has the X-Box. It's gonna be a long wait. I take it you just got it?
Is it better than the first one? Hell, if it's on the same level I'll be happy.
Oh my god ... "South Park" taking on Glenn Beck and "Avatar" in the same episode? That was just too good to be true!
With Halloween coming up and Amazon doing their sale, I figured it was time to order a few DVDs. The picks? TRICK 'R TREAT, LORD OF ILLUSIONS, C.H.U.D., SEVERANCE, FREAK OUT, CHOPPING MALL, and WOLFEN. Ah, the anticipation ...
Good call on Lord of Illusions. Clive Barker and Scott Bakula is a win.
Yeah, I love that movie! Used to have the DVD, but someone stole it (along with about forty other films - that was a somewhat unpleasant surprise).
Shit dude, I know the exact feeling. A long time ago I got robbed while I was at work but all they took were the bottom shelf of my DVD collection (amateurs, psshh). I had to get my Sam Raimi collection, my Robert Rodriguez collection and a few others all over again. At least when I got them all a second time they were a lot cheaper.
Stallone and Statham: the next Gibson and Glover?
Twelve years after release, "Event Horizon" still creeps me out.
Another of my all-time faves. That bit on the autopsy table. The Airlock sequence. Weir's screaming in the drive room. Creeps me out every time.
That was a movie I should not have watched as a kid. I felt so bad for Cowboy Curtis.
McConaughey kicked ass in "Reign of Fire!"
Looking back, it's actually kinda sad how he's decided to be the "rom-com" guy nowadays. He could EASILY have become the next big action star, if he'd wanted to...
SAHARA was a blast as well. I wish that movie could have been a bigger hit. Might have made a modern-day INDY franchise out of it.
Out For Justice = criminally underrated
I completely agree. I've always wondered if there was more to the movie than what was shown, in terms of the non-action segments that is. William Forsyth's character Ritchie gave me nightmare's when I first saw the movie (the bit where he shot that woman in cold blood chilled me to the bone). The movie also allowed me to discover Gina Gershon & Julianna Margolies for the first time way back in 1991. This may sound like a major overstatement but OUT FOR JUSTICE has the kind of storyline that Martin Scorsese would enjoy.
If they remake GREMLINS, I may have to kill somebody.
I've got zombies on my lawn.

Love that movie.
"This is a car chase! I went to a considerable expense to set this up! We can't just stop!!!"
